Obituary of Shirley Ann Wideman

Shirley Ann Walker Wideman was born March 8, 1934 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. She passed from this life into the presence of the Lord on May 2, 2015 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 81. Shirley was preceded in death by her father Troy Walker; her mother Virginia Clark Walker; stepmother Pearl Walker; and her brother Raymond Walker. She is survived by her husband James Lowell Wideman; children Gene Wideman and wife Carol; Lee Wideman and wife Melody; and Terry Wideman and wife Jennifer; 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; sister Ruth Crutchfield; brother Alvin Walker and wife Virginia; and brother Loy Walker and wife Sue. Shirley and James were married on February 12, 1954 at the Sand Springs Pentecostal Holiness Church. In 1966 they moved to their current home in Sapulpa where they have resided for the past 49 years. Shirley enjoyed crocheting and baking cookies for her grandchildren. You could never leave her house without a hug and an “I love you.” She loved her family very much and we will greatly miss her.
