Obituary of Tommy Lee Lloyd

Tommy Lee Lloyd Tommy Lee Lloyd died Febuary 19th 2015 at 4 am at his home in Kellyville, Oklahoma. He was born in Mena Arkansas, January 23, 1945, to Luretha Hawkins Lloyd and Thomas Lee Lloyd. After graduating from McClain High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Tommy served his country in the United States Army, serving one year in Viet Nam. He received the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, and Vietnam Service Medal. Following discharge from the Army, Tommy delivered liquid propane gas for Ark Valley Gas Co., Inc., Sand Springs, Oklahoma. He retired in 2011 from FerrellGas, formerly Ark Valley, with 40 years of service in the propane industry. Tommy’s maternal grandparents were farmer-ranchers in Scott County Arkansas, and he continued this tradition in Kellyville, where he raised cattle and did custom hay baling. Preceding Tommy in death were his parents, brother Charles Ray Lloyd, Jackie Sue Hearn Lloyd Neeley, mother of his children and his wife, Terry LaDawn Begley Lloyd. Survivors include son Tommy Lee Lloyd Jr. and Jodi; daughters Kelly Sue Rossman and Kelly T., LaDawna Hollingshad and Little John, Shawna Lynn and Scott, and Skeeter Briggs and Justin; grandchildren Alex and Dalton Lloyd, Cody, Tori, and Adelle Martin, Blade and Zachary Rossman, Ashley, Shelbe’, and Gunner Hollingshad, Andrew and Natalie Lynn, and Justie and Wyatt Briggs; and one great-grandchild Charlie Jane Taylor. Arrangements are being entrusted to Greenhill Funeral Home in Sapulpa, Oklahoma, (918-224-2312 / www.greenhillok.com) where the family will receive friends from 1-9 pm on Sunday, February 22, 2015. Tommy’s graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, February 23, 2015 at Sunrise Cemetery in Kellyville, where internment will follow. Pallbearers will be Curtis Haney, John Hollingshad, Pete Little, Don McGuire, Darrell Duane Yocham, and Shelby Duane Yocham. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jack Denham and Don Pulley.
