Shirley Ann (Weygandt) Marler was born February 23, 1940 in Jasper County, Jefferson City, MO to parents Clifford and Louise Weygandt. She transitioned to her Heavenly Home February 8, 2015. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents Clifford Weygandt and Louise (Skyles) Weygandt; husbands Bobby Joe Earl Marler; and Jake B. Marler; sister Sherrie Kay Surrell; and brother Merle Clifford Weygandt. Shirley married Bobby Marler June 19, 1956 and they were blessed with daughter, Zelenda, and foster son, Steven. After Bobby’s death Shirley married Jake Marler and they were married for 12 years. Shirley was the life of the party. She loved spending time with her family and making them laugh. She and her family enjoyed watching wrestling together. She thought she was a wrestler and could often put on a better show than the professionals. Shirley liked yard sales and flea markets. She enjoyed playing her tambourine and going to church. She liked working with the food ministry. Shirley also enjoyed going camping at Spavinaw Lake with her friends and family. Shirley was deeply loved by her family and will be missed by all who knew her. Services will be at 1:00 pm Thursday, February 12, 2015 at River of Life Church, Sand Springs, OK. The family has entrusted the services to the directors at Green Hill Funeral Home.
