Obituary of LOUIS LAWRENCE

Louis Lawrence was born August 10, 1940 in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. He was one of seven children born to parents William and Alice Lawrence. He passed away on December 19, 2014 at his home in Sand Springs. Louis loved his work at Unit Rig and worked there for many years, until he retired. He enjoyed fishing when he was younger and would take the family out many evenings and weekends to fish at the river. Sometimes walking from the dam to the bridge and back again, fishing all the way. Louis was preceded in death by daughter Terrie Jean Lawrence “Johnson”; and two grandchildren. Louis is survived by his wife of 55 years, Fay Lawrence; oldest daughter Pam Avera and husband Jim; sons Randy Lawrence and wife Leslie; Donny Lawrence and wife Beth; and Shanon Lawrence; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Services are scheduled for 10:30 am Friday, December 23, 2014 at Green Hill Funeral Home.
